Searching for your soul mate on the Internet if it may be in match sites, dating sites, chat
rooms or even singles clubs.
There are many different scams on the Internet these days and even communicating by mail. You have to watch out for many of these so you don’t get scammed. And there is always new ones coming up on Internet all the time.
It is a scam is commonly used by women on the Internet or what you think may be a woman. It works like this: the woman will send you an e-mail introducing her self and being very friendly communicate with you for just a few weeks. Then they will convince you that this relationship is getting serious. Then they will ask you if you are interested in meeting them in person. Then she will tell you that she can get a visa to come to the United States to meet you. They may talk sexy to you or say just about anything you want to hear to try to get you convinced of this. They will tell you that they can get a visa that well last 2 weeks and it will take one month to get it and it well cost X. amount of dollars and that they will have to have extra X. amount of dollars on them to prove they have money to get back to their country. And when you send them the money and they receive it you will never hear from them again. There’s been many a man has been taken or thousands of dollars in this type of scam.
You could not get a visa to the United States in just a couple of weeks this type of visa is called a visitor’s visa. Immigration only puts out so many visitor visas a year you may stand in line for his high as 10 years to get one of these.
Sometimes if you’re a college student and are engaged to US citizen but are not getting married until you finish college you can get a one time visitor’s visa to enter the country and you have three months. The US embassy in that country may approve this type of visa knowing that she will return to finish her college. They grant these visas not too often but you also have to have a letter from your fiancé here in the US to get this and you also have to had met in person in their country. They may grant it and they may not grant it they can convince the embassy that they will return to finish college they may get it. I have heard of this happening in the past. After the three months you have to return back to your country. To get this type of visa you have to have great good evidence that you return back to your country if you’re in college and have two years or more to finish your schooling you have very good chance to get this visa. If you’re coming to the United States to see someone you would also have to have a letter from that person stating that you will be staying there and visiting them for the amount of time you are in the US.
You do have to remember that this is no guarantee that you will get the visa most people trying to get a visa to visit the United States and to visit relatives here can wait as high as 10 years to get this visa. So don’t be caught up into the scam of this type of visa.
The only other visa that you can get that is faster is a fiancée visa and the person that is a US citizen is the one that has to apply for this type of visa for his fiancée. You do have to meet this person in their country before applying for this visa and have proof that you were there. Don’t become a victim and fall for this type of scam. What they tried to convince you of get this visa just does not work that way.
These scams are known throughout the world, in the Philippines scams are sometimes used but not very often but you still have to watch out for them. Most ladies in the Philippines are very serious about finding a lifetime partner from other countries.
The next scam is you been communicating with a lady for some time and then she will say that there has been a medical emergency in her family. And that a family member is in the hospital and they need money to help pay this bill. Sometimes in the Philippines this does happen that is not a scam but to protect your self from this is very simple.
You need to ask the lady that you are communicating with what city this hospital is in, the name of the hospital and the name of the person that is admitted into the hospital. When you get this information you could look the hospital on the Internet and get the phone number for this hospital. You can get an inexpensive phone card that you can call overseas with. Then you need to call the hospital and ask for billing or admissions and ask if this person has been admitted to the hospital. If this person has been admitted to the hospital you need to ask them how long they have been there and how much is your bill at this time.
If that person has not been admitted to that hospital and don’t send money because it is a scam. Or if they will not give you that information they are just trying to scam you out of some money and I may not be worth continuing this communications between you and her.
Although it is quite common this happen in the Philippines and it is true, the Philippines is a very poor country and if somebody is admitted in the hospital they do not release them until the bill is paid. In some cases they will not even admit that person into the hospital until they have an X. amount of dollars. So they will go to all relatives and a family member to try to get enough money to pay this bill to gets his family member out or some times in to the hospital. And if you happen to be communicating with this lady and if they can’t find the money through family members she may ask you for a polite way and honestly. You still need to check this out in the way that I described to you above.
Next scam that is used frequently in all countries is what we call the college scam. Whey communicating with you for quite some time to gain your trust to get you interested in them. And all through your communications and will be telling you about their going to college and how expensive it is very hard to afford. Later on in the communication even have them for several months or even a year and they will start asking you for money to help pay for their college. They will go to extremes to even show you pictures of colleges and classes schedules that is on paper and I have heard in some cases where they even have you call them while they’re in school on her cell phone and you can hear the teacher talking. This is usually a recording that they play back over the phone they don’t talk to you because they pretend that they are in class. If you stop and think about it most colleges doesn’t matter what country they are in don’t allow cell phones in the classrooms that will lat students accept call.
If you think it might be true if she is going to college and you need to ask her for the name of the college what city it is in and the college address.
Then you need to get on the Internet and find the college in that city and the phone number and call to administration and see if this lady is enrolled and attending college there. And if she is then you can make your own choice.
Just remember I stressed very strongly to everyone do not send money to not send money. After you go there and meet this lady in person and if you feel that you need to help support her tight you can get her visa to the United States. Then you can set up a monthly allowance for her and she is living with her family $100 a month will go a long ways for them there. You may have other expenses when she gets ready to go to the embassy you know that you will have to pay. With a medical exam before the embassy and the cost center to the embassy and a little spending money would not be over $500 including airfare if she does not live on the same island where the embassy is. She lives on the same island as were the embassy is you can get by with about $300 that it also includes a fee to the embassy.
Do not forget there is no divorce and the Philippines at this point or time. So communicating with someone that is married is just a waste of time if you plan to bring them to the US with no divorce law it is impossible to get them here. If they have an annulment of their marriage through this Filipino government that is okay then you can get them here to the US.
It’s been no one or married women over there to scam men for money whether communicating with them while some do know they cannot get here to the US if you have a marriage license in the Philippines. So they are there just to scam you for what they can I recommend very strongly that they communicate with them.
I have had men contact through e-mail and asked me several questions about the ladies are communicating with the same type things. They keep asking them for money and different reasons why. As many men out there that get scammed every day over the same type scams just remember be aware do not send money.
In some cases like the Philippines the lady is not working and has a hard time communicating with you she may have to use Internet café and is expensive she may not have the money to do so and she may ask you. If she does ask for money to communicate with you it is okay to send a little but no more than $25 a month. That money will go a long ways in communicating through an Internet café.
Some people may not understand what an Internet café is most people in poor countries like the Philippines are mostly Third World countries cannot afford computers or computer connections. So there is a place in their city that is what we call an Internet café it is a room with a few computers in a little cubicles for privacy and you have to put in so many pesos per minute to be able to use the computer. This is what a lot of ladies and men use in these countries to communicate with people in other countries.
Keep your communications clean and watch for the scams but have fun. It is always enjoyable to communicate and to get to know someone from another country. It is very easy to get connected with these people and even to fall in love with them on the Internet. Be sure when you chat with them that you can see them on a web cam if they refuse to use an Internet cam or always come up with an excuse it may not be worth communicating with them.
Some men communicate through letters when you communicate through letters be sure you have them send you pictures of her, family, the area she lives around, something in the city with the name of the city on, pictures of friends relatives, transportation that they pay a fee to, and most important ask a lot of questions about their family how they live about her mother and father siblings, these are all questions that could indicate if they are trying to scam you. If they hesitate on answering these questions and don’t want to talk about it and don’t want to send you the pictures they may say they can’t afford a camera. If that is the case go to Wal-Mart buying inexpensive camera and get their address and send it to them. Then have them send the camera back and have the pictures developed in the US.
